LONGWAY is a family owned & run, hand crafted, clothing brand (formerly known as neve & hawk). What initially started as an online kid's clothing store, has now transformed into a lifestyle brand with a flagship in the amazing town of San Anselmo! We produce women's and men's clothing ethically and sustainably in both Peru and California. Our flagship and community space features our clothing brand, our coffee shop, our new parklet, and many other brands who share our values of producing ethical, slow, and sustainable products. We have the honor and privilege of crafting and serving Lady Falcon Coffee Club coffee. While there are a lot of moving parts in our store, our priority remains supporting one another and building relationships on the foundations of respect and kindness while having fun in the process.

We are looking for a part-time barista to add to our coffee shop inside of our brand space. As an extension of Lady Falcon, it is a priority that we maintain the quality of service and coffee upheld by their brand. We hope to add someone who is passionate about the work they do, is continuously learning, has a kind-hearted attitude, and enjoys being a part of a close-knit team.

As a barista, you will interact with our community of customers, maintain positive interactions with our loyal or first time guests, make delicious Lady Falcon coffee drinks, and occasionally assist customers as they browse our space. Your responsibilities, in addition to basic barista responsibilities, will be opening or closing the coffee shop, cleaning the cafe and community spaces (during this time we are upholding very strict cleaning procedures to protect our team and our guests), and dialing in the espresso machine before each shift (and again throughout the shift when necessary).

As a member of our team, you will be expected to learn about the brands within our shop, successfully communicate our brand values to the customers, as well as uphold a high-level of respect, integrity, and safety of our team and community members, alike. Your schedule will be around 20-30 hours a week depending on availability and flexibility. You must have a love for coffee, other humans, and a desire to know how a good cup of coffee is crafted. Experience is a huge plus but not required. If you think you are the right person for the job, we’d love to hear from you!
